Designed, engraved and cast by Jim Rimmer at his Pie Tree Press & Type Foundry in New Westminster, BC, Duensing Titling was created in 2001 as a tribute to Paul Duensing on the 50th anniversary of the founding of his private press.
William Rueter (in DA #52) says of Duensing that it is "an extremely elegant, sensitive alphabet of display capitals," which seems to "echo details from type designs of the past, yet the capitals are delightfully consistent and the type is completely Jim's own".
Note that this is a capitals-only design, with no lowercase characters.
Please note that the printing in the image above is larger than "life size". Between that and the less-than-ideal resolution of the digital photo, the imprint of the type appears larger and rougher than it actually is.
